Volvo Cars has experienced strong volume growth. Logent is responsible for Volvo Cars’ packaging management in a terminal near Torslanda bilfabrik. Logent has designed a scalable logistics solution with new automation equipment that has radically reduced costs and increased capacity to meet growth. It is a continuous flow and Volvo’s suppliers must constantly have access to packaging in order to be able to deliver materials for production. A crucial success factor is Logent’s continuous improvement work through a standardized operational excellence program.

Saab is facing strong growth with deliveries of the Gripen to Sweden and Brazil. In connection, Saab has chosen to enter into a collaboration with Logent to create efficient logistics solutions and to ensure production capacity. Future operations place demands on a stronger development of internal logistics, and Saab needs a logistics partner that can make a powerful contribution to more efficient operations.

“We chose Logent as we are convinced that they can develop our logistics. For us, the most important criterion was to find a partner who has the ability to continuously develop our internal logistics and to break the cost curve in connection with the increase in production. ”
